All-timers from the Ernestus / Von Oswald hall of echos finally back in print. Some of the most timeless electronic music ever committed to wax, it's kinda hard to figure how many of these records have been in circulation over last 30 years, but in the immortal words of someone, somewhere; "what's good, stays good".
From the M-Series (often wrongly attributed as a Moritz solo project, but is in fact both of 'em) we have the eternal Domina (with Carl Craig providing one of the greatest remixes of all time, at the peak of his powers), Ploy (a foundational stone in the building of the Detroit / Berlin bridge via its instantly recognisable UR mix), M4.5, M6 (a personal fave of ours), M7 and only one of two from the series not made by M&M (although it does have a Maurizio mix on the flip), Vainqueur's Lyot.
From B.C it's the rapid, spatial Octagon, the after-hours speciality Quadrant Dub, and the closest these two get to anthemic, Q 1.1. Essential is really an understatement - you'd think everyone who wanted a BC / M record by now would have one, but evidently not. And fuck knows how many of these we've sold over the years... probably goes into the thousands. Might be a good time to refresh your knackered copies if yer one of them vets too....
