Eurorack
Some call it Eurorack. Some call it Modular. Some call it "Eurocrack", but some of those people don't even know what crack is. Some of the world’s very first synthesisers were modular, but the Eurorack format was developed by Dieter Doepfer in the mid-90s. At Rubadub, we sell a wide range Eurorack Modular synths & systems from brands including; Doepfer, Make Noise, ALM, Instruo, WMD, Expert Sleepers, Intellijel, TipTop, Mutable Instruments, 4MS, Noise Engineering, Synthesis Technology, Qu-bit, Malekko and much more. As in MUCH more. But that only means you have a increasingly wide and exciting scope of sonic capabilities on offer! All forms of synthesis, drums, effects, processing, sampling… Eurorack has it all, as well some very neat and interesting tools and devices not readily available in any other format. Although the language of Eurorack is, and will always be predominantly CV based, it’s never been easier to integrate a modular system into a set up that isn't: wether that’s a DAW such as Ableton, or hardware MIDI-based synths, drum machines and samplers. And you don’t always need a massive £6k system. Sometimes a little skiff with a handful of carefully selected modules can add a serious amount of spice to your music & production. If you’re thinking of taking the leap into the world of Eurorack, or even already have a substantial system, we’re on hand to offer advice and recommendations, whether that’s via phone, email, or in person at our shop in Glasgow.
