Along with your rights under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, we'll give you up to 14 days to return goods from the date of purchase. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help deal with your return. Returned items used beyond the point of reasonable inspection - signs of wear, missing or damaged packaging may be subject to a reduced refund to account for diminished value. 

Should you wish to cancel an order prior to dispatch - simply get in touch. 

Returns (as covered by Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

At Rubadub, we are committed to your satisfaction with every purchase. Should a return be required, we aim to make this as smooth as possible. Our 30-day return policy ensures that you can shop confidently, knowing that we have you covered. Please read the following guidelines to help ensure we 

1. Return Options:

Full refund/exchange: Within 14 days of receiving the item.
Exchange/credit only: Within 30 days of receiving the item.

2. Initiating a Return:

To receive a full refund within 14 days, notify us promptly and return the product within the next 14 days. You may contact us via email (website@rubadub.co.uk) to initiate a return. Please feel free to call us on 0141 221 9650 if you wish to discuss any details prior to the return.

For exchanges within 30 days, notify us within the period and return the item within 14 days. Items received beyond this timeframe may be rejected. 

3. Return Conditions:

Within the 14-day cooling-off period, you may handle goods to the extent necessary to inspect them as you would in a shop.

Examples of possible deductions include a percentage of the purchase price where packaging or accessories are missing, or where the product shows signs of use. The exact deduction will be assessed individually based on the reduction in resale value. 

Typical examples (for guidance only):

  • Around 5% – where outer retail packaging is damaged or defaced
  • Around 10% – where internal packaging is missing or damaged
  • Around 10% or more – where original accessories are missing or damaged
  • 10% or more – where the product itself shows scratches, marks, or other visible signs of use

The exact deduction will always be assessed on a case-by-case basis and we will confirm any deduction with you before processing the refund.

4. Non-Returnable Items:

  • Unsealed software.
  • Digitally delivered goods.
  • Record Stylus
  • Hardware with registered software licences.
  • Custom-built or modified products.
  • Special order merchandise.
  • Vouchers (Digital & Printed)
  • In-ear/canal headphones for hygienic reasons (unless faulty)

5. How to Initiate a Return:

Obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number by calling Customer Service on  0141 221 9650  or emailing website@rubadub.co.uk
Place the original package into a shipping carton, with the RMA number clearly written on the outer box. Ship via an insured postal service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed. 

6. Return Inspection:

We inspect returned goods for reasonable care during possession and completeness. Returned items not in as-new condition, used beyond the point of reasonable inspection - showing signs of wear, missing or damaged packaging may be subject to a reduced refund to account for diminished value. 

7. Refund Process:

Refunds will be issued in the same payment form as the original purchase. Allow up to 14 days for processing upon receiving the goods and 3-5 additional days for the credit to appear on your statement.

8. Faulty & Defective Items:

Within the first 30 days, we arrange a free return/swap service.
Replacement for defects within 30 days; repair by the manufacturer thereafter. After 30 days, return costs are the customer's responsibility, with reimbursement for proven faults.

9. Refused Deliveries:

We may deduct our actual delivery and return carriage costs if you refuse delivery of a non-faulty order.
