Basics
LENGTH - Adjusts the overall duration of the kick—from tight clicks up to long, sustained thumps.

SUSTAIN - Sets the perceived volume “tail” of the kick, letting you balance punch vs. body in the mix.

ATTACK - Controls the amount of high-frequency transient energy—add snap or smooth it out.

Tuning & Transient

PITCH - Tunes the fundamental frequency of the kick (≈C1 to C2), either by manual knob or V/Oct tracking.

PITCH CURVE - Morphs the pitch-envelope shape: CCW for soft, 808-style pitch drop; CW for snappier, 909-style.

TRS DECAY - Sets how quickly the transient fade-in clears, balancing punch versus presence.

Tone & Effects

COLOR - Adjusts the body’s harmonic content—from warm analog timbres to bright wavetable tones.

FX - Selects and dials in onboard processing (clipping, wavefolder, distortion, etc.) for character and grit.

TRS TONE - Shapes the transient’s timbre—darker for tight thuds, brighter for pronounced clicks.

Models & Variations

FUNCTION - In Producer mode, randomizes the current model instantly—perfect for sparking inspiration and “happy mistakes.” In Performer mode, it advances your custom kick sequence.

MICRO SD - Houses nine factory “model” files and lets you load new wavetables or samples so you can expand or fully customize your kick engines.

Craft dynamic percussive textures with ease. Sync a secondary kick to clock divisions and fine-tune every tap’s level, pitch, and FX using intuitive controls.

CLOCK - Triggers the secondary kick voice in perfect sync with your system clock.

TAPS 2/3/4 - Set individual volume levels for each sixteenth-note subdivision.

VOL - Balances the overall level of your groove layer against the main kick.

Shaping & Effects

Bohm:Performer blends dual kick engines with external stereo input, offering precise side-chain ducking, intuitive one-touch DJ effects (filters, beat/slip rolls), and full CV assignability—empowering live performers with seamless, dynamic mix control.

One-Touch Performance Effects

FX - Selects and controls DJ-style processing—LP/HP filters, beat rolls, slip rolls—synced to your kick hits.
Routes effects to the kick only, the external input only, or both simultaneously.
ON/OFF - Toggles your chosen effect in perfect sync with each kick trigger.
Mix & Side-chain
IN - Feeds external stereo audio into the module for integrated processing with your kicks.
VOL - Balances the level of your dual kick voices against the incoming audio.
