Outbox 8 adds eight fully configurable outputs to your setup. Each one is independently assignable to audio or CV. Send stems to your mixer. Convert MIDI into pitch, gate, trig, or clock to drive your modular rig. Or mix and match across all eight, however the moment calls for.

It's not just for Elektron either: Outbox 8 also works as an 8-output USB audio interface for your computer, tablet, or phone, and as a standalone MIDI-to-CV converter for any class-compliant controller.

  • Per-track routing: send individual tracks or submixes from a compatible Elektron device to any output
  • MIDI-to-CV conversion: seven CV types (Pitch V/Oct, Pitch Hz/V, Gate, Trig, Clock, Value Lin, Grounded) to sequence your modular gear
  • Hybrid setups: run some outputs as audio sends, others as CV/gate/clock, all from the same box
  • USB audio interface: 8 extra outputs for your DAW, no extra hardware needed

Configure it right from your Elektron device's menu, or dial it in from the browser-based Outbox 8 Web App. It remembers up to 8 device profiles plus a dedicated computer profile, so your setup is always where you left it.

Elektron Meets Modular, Finally Seamlessly

Use parameter locks and LFOs on your Elektron tracks as CV modulation sources. Sequence modular voices in sync with note, velocity, and CC data. Or just plug in a USB MIDI keyboard and play your modular rig directly - no computer required.

On stage, split your mix across outputs for hands-on control at the mixer. In the studio, send a track's signal to outboard reverb or delay while keeping your dry signal untouched on its own channel.
