While The Jaffa Kid - real name Daniel Pringle - has been releasing music since the mid 2000’s, he has recently become a man possessed, relentlessly and unceremoniously uploading over 50 albums to Bandcamp since 2019. Prolific is an understatement.
‘Acid Raver’ was recorded in 2019 during what Pringle describes as a ‘two week acid bender’ and is part of an ongoing series of 303-based experiments. With BPMs varying from the 120s up to the 150s, the tracks collected here touch on a variety of acidic styles from the stripped-back and hypnotic to full-blooded jacking fist-pumpers, then on up to all-out squelching pandemonium.
