"Finally, those killer DJ Sprinkles re-workings of Will Long’s ‘Acid Trax’ come to wax, here on the first of three vinyl EP's via Comatonse.

EP 1 features DJ Sprinkles’ ‘Acid Dog’ remix and is some of the most resoundingly trippy and sensual productions in the Sprinkles catalogue. For 11 minutes Terre juices the most life affirming tones from the silver box, masterfully swirling them in-the-mix with the sort of padded subs, shivering percussion and chord hues that fizz the scalp over a good system -  peerless stuff that could quite happily go three times as long.

Will Long’s pared-down original stretches out on the flip, offering a more stripped back, meditative groover continuing the ascetic aesthetics with raw drum machine and 303 judiciously suspended in spare air. 

Aye, it’s as good as it gets.
