"Rentboy" spits and gurgles like a broken synthesizer, sharp snares and clickity hats cutting through the deluge skillfully as the internal throb takes hold. "Plantain" sees more skippy, delicate rhythms explored, with a swirling, cranium-busting set of fx and idents hidden deep within the recesses. Sounding a little like it's been beamed directly from one of Light Sounds Dark's fractured transmissions. Two tracks to turn heads and twist bodies and if the first one's anything to go by, won't hang around long.
