This new module offers a number of significant improvements over the FH-1. Key features and functions as follows:
● 0.91" OLED display (as used in the General CV).
● MIDI to CV conversion including polyphonic and MPE operation. The FH-2 is a USB MIDI host AND a USB MIDI device while also supporting 5-pin DIN MIDI signals via the MIDI breakout as the Disting and General CV do.
● Clock generation and synchronisation. The FH-2 will accept MIDI clock (IN and OUT), analogue clock (IN and OUT) and will also generate its own clock via an entered BPM or tap tempo.
● LFO generation (including tempo-synced LFOs).
● Arpeggiator.
● Step Sequencer.
In addition, there is a web-app available for configuring the FH-2 here that communicates directly with the FH-2 via sysex. The FH-1's script system is no longer required.
