Teasing out the sonics, NC decided to press up two cuts from the LP – ‘Falling’ and ‘Light Show’ – along with remixes from Young Echo’s O$VMV$M, and Berlin-based sound artist and graphic designer Broshuda.
The 12″ gives us a taste of the delirious E B U sound to come, in the shape of the weird, wonderful and totally addictive worlds of Falling & Light Show… Two original cuts, each counter-balanced with a remix:
‘Falling’ turned to a pitched down slo-motion dub anthem in the hands VMO$ and $VM, and the divine spectral glide of sonics into a parallel universe of ‘Light Show’, via Broshuda.
All wrapped up in a cross-hatch of killer artwork, design and print by Harry Wright & E B U (Front Cover), Broshuda (Back Cover), O$VMV$M (Insert), Studio Tape-Echo (centre label design and layout), and 16 Tonne Press (Insert Risoprint).
