Equipped with high performance 24-bit/192kHz AD-DA converters, the Scarlett 8i6 gets you professional sound quality with it's improved A-D and D-A conversion, ensuring your recording quality is the best it can be. Two of these have gain control and are located on the front, the other four are fixed line on the rear of the interface, allowing you to record up to six mono or three stereo sources with the utmost clarity.

A pair of virtual loopback inputs let you capture a stereo feed of any combination of hardware input and software playback channels, which makes it a doddle to podcast, live stream as well as assisting in sampling tasks. The 8i6 takes a simple connection to your PC or MAC via USB cable and there are also two independent, high-quality headphone outs with dedicated volume controls to ensure versatile and flexible monitoring whilst recording.

Focusrite have included all the software tools you need to get your home studio up and running. You get two DAWs in the form of Ableton Live Lite and Pro Tools First, which features the Focusrite Creative Pack, giving you Compression and EQ tools, Distortion, Phaser, Flanger, Rotary, Ring Modulator, Reverb and Echo effects as well as Amp Simulation, Tuning and Speed tools.
