Man Fear are @trssx, now based between London and Glasgow, and Joey Desktop aka @joejeffers, currently in NYC.
Gwałtowna Euforia (Polish for Violent Euphoria) was recorded in Ridgewood, NY in 2016-17 and is the first 12" release on UK/Poland based label Wodawater. It may have been the Polish roots that brought Man Fear together - after all they met in Chicago, perhaps the second largest Polish city after Warsaw.
The EP was the fruit of an intense collaboration that spawned dozens of tracks, music outfits (including a rap crew), and live performances, before TRSSX was forced out of the US. On Gwałtowna Euforia they combined leftfield techno, trance and house, New York's heatwaves and snowstorms and the impending prospect of having to separate within a few months.
Both sides of the record feature raw performances from guests Danny Orlowski aka Guido of NY-based band Deli Girls, and FALSE PRHPT of Prison Religion, both favourites of Brooklyn's experimental noise scene, without whom this record would not be what it is in the slightest.
