Hood chops the vocal of “Hotel Oasiz” over a lean, relentless bassline for a stripped-down peak-time weapon, while DJ 3000’s “Eastern Market” channels the energy of Detroit’s historic market strip with sharp synth stabs anchored by a deep, funky bassline. On the flip, Truncate lays his signature jackin’ drum work over “Take Me” for a dark, punchy, sub-heavy tool, and Gerome Sportelli closes with “No Slide, ” locking rolling 303 squelches into a heavy, head-nodding groove of raw acid fun
