Panasonic 12-inch is the very first release by the seminal experimental techno act, originally issued in 1994.
Comprising two stark, uncompromising tracks, the record distills techno to its barest elements—rhythm, texture, and intensity. Presented with its iconic rubber-stamped artwork, this release captures the raw spirit of the early Sähkö era.
Soon after its release, the group was compelled to rename itself Pan Sonic following a threat of legal action from the electronics corporation Panasonic.
