The Ortofon 2M red is a great value phono cartridge, one of the finest budget models we've ever heard, making it no suprise this giant beater has received some excellent reviews from the hi-fi press. It features a tipped elliptical diamond stylus to offer excellent sound quality with high levels of detail. It was developed with Danish designer 'MøllerJensen Design', who was used for the award winning flagship Jubilee and the Kontrapunkt cartridges.
The stylus is replaceable in future and the body even features tapped screw threads, so you can simply screw in the cartridge rather than fiddling around with nuts and bolts! Excellent performance and unbeatable value for money.
