Heavyweight Dub Champion is one of Scientist's best-known early dub albums, made for producer Henry 'Junjo' Lawes and first released in 1980. The album takes a boxing theme, with every track named after a punch or a moment in the fight.
From 'Seconds Away' and 'Straight Left' through 'Kidney Punch' and 'Below The Belt' to the closing 'Knockout', it's ten tracks of tough, spacious dub. Reissued on LP.
