Originally released in 1982, Scientist Encounters Pac-Man is one of the best-loved entries in Scientist's run of themed dub albums from the early 80s. Produced by Linval Thompson, it takes his rhythms, played by the Roots Radics, and strips them down at the mixing desk into stark, echo-drenched dubs, with each track titled as a twist on the arcade theme.
Ten tracks run from 'Under Surveillance' and 'Space Invaders Re-Group' through 'The Dark Secret Of The Box' to 'Look Out-Behind You!'. This reissue presents the original ten-track album on LP.
