Ghost Dubs stretches ‘When I’m Gone’ into a slow-motion haze of submerged rhythms and cavernous bass, while The Bug twists ‘Too Human’ into narcotic instrumental hip-hop with echoes of Rhythm & Sound and early Mobb Deep. Across all four tracks, the desolate mood of the originals remains intact, amplified by crushing beats, dubbed-out space and relentless sub pressure.
