Submerge Presents: Depth Charge 7

After 18 years, Submerge’s revered Depth Charge series returns with a new volume of the definitive Detroit electronic music compilation. This installment is mixed by Disruptive Pattern Material, a familiar name to those behind the scenes, but for many others, their release on Underground Resistance this summer was the first introduction.

The mix is a snapshot of Detroit techno’s most exciting artists and labels, featuring Huey Mnemonic on Subsonic Ebonics, Mark Flash on his DTFA label, DJ Dex via Yaxteq, and tracks from Underground Resistance’s Interstellar Fugitives 3, Action 1, which are only available on 7" vinyl. Without a turntable, this is the only way to hear them.
