Terra Arcana

London producer Mr Beatnick returns with Terra Arcana, his most immersive work to date. Across ten richly textured composi- tions, Nick Wilson explores the fertile ground between fourth world music, ambient, dub, jazz-funk and leftfield electronics, assembling an imagined world from fragments of sound, memory and place.

Drawing on over two decades immersed in London’s underground — including a four- teen-year residency at NTS Radio — Wilson approaches the sampler as a means of musical archaeology, layering MPC-driven rhythms, live instrumentation and modular synthesis into a deeply transportive listening experience. Rooted in beat-making yet un- tethered from genre, Terra Arcana unfolds as a seamless journey through hidden land- scapes where familiarity and imagination blur.

Following acclaimed releases on Don’t Be Afraid and International Feel, Terra Arcana marks a new high point for one of London’s quietly influential producers.
