The album is an hour's body of work, lurching from track to track with bags of percussive maximalism, off-kilter rhythmic programming, uncanny textural work and sampling, and methodical, dancefloor, machine-funk sensibilities. It’s a precise-yet-unhinged hour of listening-forward techno with a distinct and intense personality, drawing equally from Japan’s 90’s experimental techno scene, Birmingham sound, and post-club-tinged ambient.

3rdcrush is best known for founding Supertouch, an anti-commercial DIY party series and label running out of Exit; arguably the most important currently-operating underground club in Scotland.

With this work, he has demonstrated a knack for opening up new niches in the Scottish DIY techno & experimental scene.

This release is the first artistic demonstration of the instincts and influences that built him his reputation as a promoter.
