Cloud Minus provides the debut release for new Manchester-based imprint Dapple Records, with a three-tracker that’s been getting attention from a diverse range of DJs including Mr. Scruff, X-Press 2, Kristian Beyer (Âme), Audiojack, and many more.
The EP is built around analogue synths, cosmic vibes and raw production, and draws influence from the likes of Lindstrøm and Metro Area, sprinkled with various shades of underground house, disco and Italo. Conceived for the opening hours or a late session in a dark backroom, the release gives its grooves time to unfold.
