Born from the same Utrecht-based studio behind the beloved DATO DUO, the DRUM throws out the rulebook on traditional drum machines and replaces it with something far more inviting - a colorful, octagonal instrument built for collaboration, creativity, and pure hands-on fun.

At the heart of the DATO DRUM is its signature circular sequencer. Four concentric rings of backlit step buttons wrap around the panel, each representing its own 8-step sequencer lane. Watch your rhythms come alive as the lights travel around the face of the machine - an intuitive visual that makes building beats feel natural for players of any age or experience level.

Each of the four sample-based voices comes loaded with great-sounding built-in drum samples, and with a dedicated pitch slider per voice, you can tune and shape each sound to taste. Want to make it your own? Upload custom samples via the web-based tool and give every voice a personality that's uniquely yours.

The pressure-sensitive drum pads invite real-time performance and retrigger play, while the no-menu, one-function-per-knob philosophy means there's nothing standing between you and the music. No deep dives into settings, no screens - just sound.

With built-in MIDI and analog sync ports, the DATO DRUM plays beautifully alongside the DUO and virtually any other instrument in your setup. A headphone output and onboard speaker mean you can jam anywhere, anytime. Power it via USB and you're ready to go.
